Istio 1.31 引入 istio-agentgateway-waypoint GatewayClass，首次在 ambient 模式下支持 agentgateway 作为七层 waypoint 代理；同步终止 Google Cloud 镜像与 Helm 仓库分发，要求用户在 12 月前完成迁移；新增对 Kubernetes 1.32–1.36 的正式支持。
支持 agentgateway（Rust 实现，兼容 MCP 协议）作为 waypoint 数据平面；Waypoint 流量迁移仍为 Alpha，API 不稳定；弃用 GCR 及 Google 托管 Helm 仓库，强制迁移至 registry.istio.io。
