PlugClaw uses a hybrid architecture that combines hardware isolation on your device with Confidential Computing in the cloud.

Your Workspace Stays On-Device: Conversations, files, knowledge bases, agent data and agent execution reside strictly on your PlugClaw hardware.

Hardware-Protected Cloud Processing: Data in the cloud is isolated inside hardware-protected Confidential VMs, keeping plaintext data inaccessible to TrustKernel and the underlying cloud provider.

For Sensitive Tasks: Use Confidential Inference models that run inside the trusted environment for end-to-end confidentiality.

For Frontier Models: When using models like Claude, GPT, or Gemini, the model provider can see the specific request content it processes. But PlugClaw's confidential cloud separates your identity from the request, minimizes metadata exposure, and keeps your broader AI workspace outside the model provider's reach.
